Volunteer

Volunteering is easy, fun, and a great way to meet other parents! All KidSpace member families are required to complete THREE (3) EASY 90-MINUTE VOLUNTEER SHIFTS during the KidSpace season from November to April. This entails handling the registration desk during regular KidSpace hours -- checking people in, selling snacks and answering questions. Working a shift is not hard -- there are comprehensive, step-by-step instructions on site and lots of other friendly parents to answer questions and help keep an eye on the kids. There are also a limited number of laundry shifts available, though limited to one per volunteer per season.

To sign up for a volunteer shift, please click on the link below to fill out the Volunteer Form.

• You must be registered for the 2009-2010 season prior to signing up for volunteer shifts.
• Click on the link below to open the volunteer form
• Use the 'filter' dropdown box to filter for the month you would like to sign up for.
• Scroll to the date / shift you want to select
• Click on 'edit' to the left of the shift
• A new form will open; fill in your name and select the email you registered with
• Click on 'update'
• If you are unable to volunteer due to technical difficulties, please email registration@belmontkidspace.org

If you need to cancel a shift you have signed up for:

• Please click on the link below, and edit by removing your name and email address (set email to '-select-').
• Within 24 hours of your shift, please call Jai at 617-838-3866 (cancellation this late should only be in an emergency, e.g. sick child).
• If cancellation is around the time of your shift, please also call the front desk at 617-484-TOYS (8697) to let the on duty volunteer know.
• Within 7 days, please send an email to volunteer@belmontkidspace.org
