- A standing “play date” for the winter with a friendly and fun group of
parents and children
- Unlimited use of KidSpace during 150+ days of operation
- 10,000 sq ft gym and play areas, including indoor “active zones” with
pre-school sized climbing structures, tricycles, cozy coupes, and other high
energy activities for climbing and riding
- Several “imagination zones” with dress up clothes, play kitchens, train
tables, and duplos
- Protected “crawler zone” with 300 sq ft of mats and toys for infants and
crawlers
- Tables and chairs where children can eat snacks, or parents chat over
coffee
Kidspace is a cooperative
As a cooperative, every KidSpace family is a member, which allows unlimited
entrance for the entire KidSpace season, November through April. The membership
fee has been kept very low -- $45 for 6 months -- by asking each family to
perform minimal volunteer duties during the season.
[About
Volunteering]
If you are new to KidSpace and you want to try it out before you join, there is
a $10 "first time visitor" fee that you can pay at the door that will be applied
to your membership when you join.
About Us
Belmont KidSpace is operated by the Belmont Parent’s Network, a
volunteer-managed, non-profit organization. The Belmont Parent’s
Network was founded in 2003 by a group of parents who recognized the
need for a community-based indoor facility where kids could play
during the winter months and where parents could get to know one
another in a kid-friendly environment.
Since opening its doors, KidSpace has served hundreds of families from
Belmont and surrounding communities. Based on this tremendous success,
KidSpace reorganized as a cooperative in 2005. As a cooperative, each
member family is asked to fulfill three 90-minute shifts over the
course of the season.

 |
|
In addition to operating KidSpace, the Belmont Parent’s Network
provides parents of infants, toddler and preschoolers with resource
information regarding important issues that impact parents and
families in our community.
The Belmont Parent’s Network rents space for KidSpace in the Payson
Park Church at 365 Belmont Street in Belmont. The Belmont Parent’s
Network is not affiliated with any religious organization.
